The Company

RiskMatrix are a Cyprus-based entity, appointed by Moody’s as its regional partner for Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, the Middle East, the CIS region and Northern and Eastern Africa, currently supporting over one hundred banks. RiskMatrix are a certified elite partner of Moody’s Analytics, having achieved the highest possible accolade within the Moody’s accreditation scheme. The company’s key activities include the promotion, system implementation and technical/business support for the Moody’s Analytics credit risk assessment and origination software solutions as well as the provision of credit analytics and IT consulting services.

RiskMatrix are interested in hiring customer facing software engineers to work in the integration and advanced configuration of Moody’s CreditLens, along with the development of enablers and value- added analytical tools. We offer positions at different seniority/ experience levels. Ideally, the candidate will have more than one-year commercial development experience. We are nevertheless open to candidates with less experience subject to demonstrable customer facing work experience given reasonable level of formal, or informal (i.e. “bootcamp”), technical education.

We will invest heavily in the successful candidates onboarding and training. A custom training and assimilation plan will be created for the successful candidate. At a minimum, the successful candidate will receive Moody’s Certified CreditLens partner training, and thereafter, further technical training as appropriate.

One of their primary tasks will be to support existing projects that were developed for system integration of our core software with third-party solutions of client-banks, as well as the enhancement of the product with additional functionality. The latter entails the composition of Postgres queries, the development of DevExpress reports, the creation of workflows using Camunda modeller, and the configuration of our core software using C# code snippets and the in-built UI and data model designer. The position involves both client-facing interaction and consultation and back-end coding and appeals to those that wish to be part of a friendly and supportive team.

An initial onboarding period of six to eight weeks in the Larnaca office is envisaged, after which the role will be substantially remote. Remote conditions require a physical presence in the EU, Middle East or Near East, and provide immediately availability (being online) during core hours.

A willingness to travel to the Middle East from time to time to interact with clients is desirable. Nevertheless, most client facing interactions will be conducted remotely.
